BRINGING HOME THE GOLD
Congratulations Hazel (Littlejohn), you are a World Champion!
Hazel beat Scotland, 21-12, in the singles to take the gold medal, at the Deaf Lawn Bowls International Championships in Edinburgh. This was no small task - after spending months practising on her lawn at home and at croquet clubs and West Melton BC, Hazel was able to get to grips with their much slower greens quickly ... not to mention beating jet-lag, time zones and Covid (that plauged some of the team). Congratulations again Hazel!!
